Upon entering Catharina’s Restaurant one basks in the immediate
attention of welcoming restaurant staff who discreetly pamper guests
throughout their meal. Inventive and talented Executive Chef Garth

Steenberg is the oldest wine farm in the Constantia Valley, one of South
Africa's premier wine growing regions. The two flagship wines, Sauvignon
Blanc Reserve and Catharina’s, a red Bordeaux blend, have won many
acclaims under winemaker John Loubser's excellent guidance.

Heritage Suites.The hotel buildings (1682) with the Manor House,
Jonkershuis and the Barn have been declared a National Monument, lovingly
restored and decorated traditionally with antiques in the elegant styling

The bridal couple has a choice of getting married in a church of their
choice or in the garden outside the Private Dining Room. Venue for the
Function: Catharina's Private Dining Room. Maximum 30 guests for a seated
Lunch or Dinner. Maximum 75 guests for canapés and drinks (standing).

Golf
A championship 18-hole golf course designed by Peter Matkovitch surrounds
the hotel. Special green fee rates are extended to hotel guests. The
course was designed to make full use of natural features and hazards. Its
environmental diversity gives the course its unique character. In
